Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Word
Take your documentation management to the next level! This course is for the intermediate and advanced Microsoft Word user. This course will show you how to utilize the full power of Microsoft Word. In this 3-day practical and project-oriented workshop series, you will learn how to enhance your ability to create and edit a document, automate forms, develop Macros, and add security protections to your documents. We will discuss Desktop Publishing and Graphic Design and create a newsletter utilizing graphics
and linking objects in addition to learning how to edit and save pdf files. Finally, you will learn to use time-saving tools such as automated document creation, utilizing multiple documents, and creating themes.

Beginner/Intermediate Microsoft Excel
This is an introductory hands-on nine hour course where the participants will learn the basic operations of Microsoft Excel. This course will show how to use various functions of Excel to create tables to increase the productivity. It will also show how to unlock the potential of their data, by using formulas across a grid of cells. Participants will also learn how to use conditional formatting to emphasize the most important part of the data. The users will learn about statistical functions such as MIN, MAX,
SUM, SUMIFS, AVERAGE, MODE, COUNT, COUNTA, and MEDIAN. Logical functions such as IF, IFS, AND, OR, FALSE, and TRUE will be demonstrated.

Take your data management to the next level! This course is for the intermediate and advanced Microsoft Excel user. This course will show you how to utilize the full power of Microsoft Excel. In this 3-day practical and project-oriented workshop series, you will learn about the use and take advantage of Excel’s Pivot Table and how to manage and analyze data by creating subtotals, Pivot Tables, and Pivot Charts. You will learn how to create informative data representation using advanced functions of Excel such as INDEX, and MATCH. Financial functions such as PMT, IPMT, PPMT, FV, and NPV are explored in detail. You will learn how to manipulate data using specialized functions such as date, logical, lookup database, and financial. Conditional formatting, multiple worksheet management and the use of range names to simplify entering ranges into the financial functions will be covered. Forecasting will be briefly covered.

You will have the opportunity to build relationships between your tables to eliminate redundancies and slash data entry time as well as discover how to achieve huge reductions in data entry errors by setting default values, creating validation rules, and building input masks. You will also receive tips and techniques for optimizing your database.

In this 3-day practical and project-oriented workshop series, you will learn how to use action queries to update, add, and delete data and create queries for specialized purposes. You will build crosstab and summarize queries so you can access information quickly and easily making your queries more efficient and effective. You will learn how to use advanced form and report features to create customized solutions using conditional formatting to highlight key data points and other tips and techniques for optimizing your database forms and reports. Finally, you will exchange data (import/export/link) between Access and other Office applications or websites. And, time
permitting, you will put the finishing touches on your database as you build a navigation form to make it easy for your users to find what they need.

Notary Public in One Day
New Applicants

Making more money is never a bad idea, and it shows your amazing initiative. Sign up and learn how to perform valuable services by certifying or witnessing signatures on official documents, $15 per signature in 2019. Notary skills are valuable in almost any industry: real estate, legal, medical and banking to name just a few. This six-hour stateapproved seminar gives you the knowledge to pass the exam and practice as an effective Notary. Participants receive 2 practice tests and take the official Notary exam directly following the seminar. You must be present for the entire course of instruction and be at least 18 years of age. Bring to class: 1) A $40 check made payable to “Secretary of State”; 2) Proper identification (current driver license or state issued ID card); 3) Two #2 pencils; 4) 2”X2” passport size color photo. Live Scan fingerprints will
be required after you pass the exam. Serious Convictions may disqualify applicants.

Renew Your Notary Public Commission
You’ll review new laws and safe practices to make sure you haven’t fallen into any bad habits. Renewing Notaries are only eligible for the threehour Notary Seminar if your commission is current. You must arrive at 12:30 to enter, the class will begin at 12:45. Bring to class: 1) A $40 check made payable to “Secretary of State”; 2) Proper identification (current driver license or state issued ID card); 3) Two #2 pencils; 4) 2”X2” passport size color photo. ServSafe Food Safety Manager Certification
This 2-day training session is an exam preparation course. You must attend both dates. The ServSafe Exam will be proctored directly after the 2nd day of training from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. You need to pick up your textbook and preparation materials at least one week prior to the 1st day of class.
